Prof. Dr Subash Gupta

Prof. Dr Subhash Gupta is one of the best liver transplant surgeons in India, and he is presently working as a chief of liver transplant/ hepatic-pancreatic-biliary surgeon and also as the Chairman of the Max Center of Liver and Biliary Sciences at Max Super Speciality Hospital, Saket. He and his whole team has conducted over 300 living donor liver transplants in 2013 successfully. Most of the transplants were performed at Indraprastha Apollo Hospital, New Delhi, which makes them the busiest and the only centre in the world.
Dr Subash Gupta has conducted and performed about 600 major liver surgeries, and each surgery lasted for almost 12-16 hours in the year 2013. With more than 35 years of experience, Prof. Dr Subhash Gupta hails with the best and the finest expertise in Liver transplantation, Robotic GI and HPB Surgery, laparoscopic/ Robotic Donor Hepatectomy and gastrointestinal diseases. He completed his MBBS and MS from AIIMS, New Delhi and he specialized in surgical gastroenterology in 1989.
