Dr. Naresh Trehan is a very well known cardiovascular surgeon across the world and India. He is presently working as the Chairman and Managing Director of Medanta-The Medicity Hospital in Delhi. After pursuing his MBBS from India, he went to New York University medical center to practice from 1971 to 1988. He is amongst the top three best cardiovascular surgeons in India who has performed 48,000 successful surgery in his 49 years of experience. The surgical procedures like open-heart surgeries and heart transplant surgery. Dr. Naresh Trehan is also highly skilled in heart transplant surgery and minimally invasive surgery.
He has worked with big hospitals, both national and international, which has helped him bring supremacy to his medical career. Dr. Trehan is also a member of the key advisory group of the Ministry of Health and Family welfare, govt of India. He is one of the most awarded doctors and surgeons presently in India. Dr. Naresh Trehan has been awarded Padma Bhusan, Padma Shri, Lal Bahadur Shastri National Award by the president of India.
